Fall Family Photos at Marymoor Park | Redmond’s Hidden Jewel

I have been taking family portraits on the Seattle Eastside for years — and yet there continues to be something timeless about Marymoor Park in the fall:

Luscious, red leaves drifting onto the mystical, quiet path along West Lake Sammamish. Children running, jumping and laughing beneath the tree canopies. Families gathering in the in-between moments — where the real connection lives.

As a family photographer based in Redmond, I’ve photographed countless sessions across Seattle’s Eastside, and I keep returning to Marymoor Park for one reason: it’s full of both beauty and breathing room. It allows families to be themselves — which, in my world, is exactly the goal as this is where the magic happens.

Whether you’re snuggling by the stone walls, dancing through the leaves, or stealing a moment near the windmill — this park has space for joy, quiet, and everything in between.

Below are a few favorite moments from past sessions, each one filled with warmth, personality, and the glow of fall.

Looking to capture heartfelt family portraits this fall? First, a quick note — I may not be the photographer for everyone. While I do offer seasonal sessions in locations like Marymoor Park, these are never cookie-cutter. I take time to connect with each family beforehand, understand what matters to them, and show up fully — with professional lighting equipment, care, and intention.

If you value connection and authenticity, the quiet in-between moments, and imagery that feels like memory… we’ll get along beautifully.

I offer sessions in Redmond, Bellevue, Sammamish, and beyond — with thoughtful guidance at every step of the way.
